“Raleigh’s Wall and the American Civil War” is a writing project of Alfred Roy Bredenberg. He is the author of several books and many articles published in print and online. Over his career, he has created materials on various topics, including American history. He shares and documents his work on the Raleigh Civil War fortifications at the Raleigh’s Wall website, where users can access an interactive map of the fortifications. He also produces Civil War Nuances, a website dedicated to stories and insights into the American Civil War. Bredenberg holds a master’s degree in organization and management from Antioch University.
