As you might know, one of my primary projects has been to reproduce the map of Raleigh’s Civil War fortifications in digital form. In case you are participating in a tour of the Raleigh fortifications, or even if you’re just interested in exploring them on your own, here is a link to the map I have produced using Google MyMaps. You can zoom into any location to see it in more detail, or switch to a satellite view if you would find that useful. If you’re accessing the map on a smartphone, you can track your location on the map using GPS.
